Nextgov’s Dawn Lim reports that as a test ground for Plan X, DARPA is “setting up a technology incubator for Defense-funded developers to stitch together computer code to automate offensive cyber operations.” Plan X is sort of a cyberwar management platform. Apparently the lab will encourage collaboration between the military and contractors.
Interestingly, the Nextgov article suggests that Plan X involves increased use of automated cyberattacks. Are automated cyberattacks a good thing?
