Obama administration says China ‘must stop unprecedented wave of cyber attacks’: The Telegraph/Reuters

Jon Swaine & Raf Sanchez wrote for The Telegraph on a speech by Tom Donilon, President Obama’s national security advisor.  According to the article, Mr. Donilon told The Asia Society in New York that Beijing “should take serious steps to investigate and put a stop to these activities.”  Moreover, Mr. Donilon noted that U.S. businesses are suffering from “”sophisticated, targeted theft of confidential business information and proprietary technologies through cyber intrusions emanating from China on an unprecedented scale.”  Mr. Donlion had a few more quotes, I’d direct your attention to the article for the rest of them.

Reuters posted an article–written by Deborah Charles & Daniel Trotta–that covered the same speech.

These articles come on the heels of this Washington Times article which accused President Obama of denying to take action on Chinese pervasive cyberexploitation for fear of harming U.S.-China relations.
