Hackers can be battlefield targets, says NATO report: The Hill

Most of you who have read or know of the Tallinn Manual were already aware of this, but if not, The Hill’s Carlo Munoz reports that the Tallinn Manual sanctions the targeting of civilian hackers when those hackers are carrying out cyberattacks “as part of a coordinated military campaign.”

The Tallinn Manual is getting a new wave of press because it’s going on a publication tour in both London and Washington.  I’m pretty sure the London event has already happened, but the Washington event (with The Atlantic Council, I believe) is still upcoming.
